Some rather dubious food advertisements


Awesome USA site Thrillist recently featureed some photos of innuendo-laden food advertisements that were somehow published anyway. This classic Shrek McFlurry one still cracks me up.


In a recent challenge on Celebrity Apprentice Australia, the teams were tasked with making a viral campaign video for Heinz’s new “Soup of the Day” range. The teams were told to remember that Heinz is a “family brand”, and unfortunately the better video lost out because of this – it was a ridiculous result, the winning video was so boring, and the losing one wasn’t at all offensive. SO HOW DOES HEINZ JUSTIFY THIS???
