This March, WA’s Great Graze invites consumers all over the state to share a platter and raise a glass to every person who helps to bring WA produce from farm to table.

An initiative of Genuinely Southern Forests and showcase for the brand’s 10 year anniversary celebrations, the campaign embraces the spirit of collaboration, with producers, fishers and farmers in WA all invited to join in.

Delicious grazing experiences will be on offer in Manjimup, Pemberton, Perth, the Swan Valley, Margaret River and Carnarvon for holidaymakers, families, and foodies alike. Feature event, the WA’s Great Grazing Market in Cottesloe on the 26th of March will showcase a line up of curated local vendors, offering a mouth watering range of grazing ingredients and workshops.

Grazers will also be able to enter a competition to sip, taste, and explore their way through the Southern Forests for a foodies dream weekend at the Pinot Picnic in April. The prize includes two nights accommodation at Jaspers Pemberton, selected meals, food and forests trail experience, Pass the Pinot evening event, and gourmet grazing hamper.

Southern Forests Food Council Chair, Kieran Kinsella says that WA’s Great Graze is about igniting a celebration of local produce, wines, and so much more.

“In 2020 our committee decided that we needed an opportunity to unite and celebrate our state’s food and beverage sector, and so, the first Great Graze was born,” said Kieran. “We are pleased to be able to once again offer this experience to consumers, and connect with industry around Western Australia,” he said.

West Aussies will be spoilt for choice thanks to the program of activities on offer which includes a very special Graze in the Forests tour in the Southern Forests on the March long weekend.

In the Swan Valley, events include an 8 course grazing menu at Upper Reach Winery as well as Holy Mary Cellars and Gryphon Smokehouse’s offering of a smoked meat platter and matched wines. There are events at Domaine Naturaliste Winery in Margaret River and at Tall Timbers in Manjimup, or a grazing adventure tour with Pemberton Discovery Tours. In the semi tropical north, Carnarvon’s Great Graze will be held once again on the grassy banks of the Fascine, overlooking the beautiful bay.

“Buy West Eat Best is proud to partner with this campaign and the amazing line up of offerings connecting consumers with local food and beverages,” said Melissa Worthington, Program Manager of Buy West Eat Best. “The program is a truly wonderful showcase of what WA has to offer,” Melissa added.
