The next time you’re planning a sharing platter, add a jar of delicious Potted Pig from Perth artisan producer Poach Pear to your shopping list. Slowly cooked shoulder, jowl and neck meat is roughly chopped and potted with a rich stock, slow roasted vegetables & herbs. Today’s adventure on The Shelf Life – the words “honeycomb flavoured nougat” sum it all up. The nougat is bright yellow, but didn’t taste of much. Currently 2 for $3 in Coles. Real honeycomb would have been much more interesting ??
