Finally…we made it to Whisk Creamery!

Whisk Creamery

A visit to Whisk Creamery has been long overdue, and we finally made it there on Saturday morning. When we first arrived there wasn’t a seat to be had, so we did a bit of shopping and were lucky to get a seat inside when we returned.

My choice was easy – a choc mint shake, with Renay ordering a “classic” chocolate one, with cream on top of course. Our shakes were very nice, although I didn’t find them as life-changing as I expected.

Whisk CreameryWe also shared a Ferrero Rocher cronut, which was once again nice, although no better than other cronuts I’ve had around town. I also found the chocolate / hazelnut paste in the middle very rich (not to mention sticky) and I wish we’d had a plain one. Perhaps I’m just getting old.

The service was fast and friendly, and the staff are obviously used to bloggers as they were careful not to get in the way of a camera!

We certainly had no complaints and I would be happy to go back, although I left wondering if Whisk Creamery has been a little over-hyped.

  • I went here a few months ago for a plain milkshake, not heard any of the hype at the time, i ordered “vanilla custard”, it was vanilla, but not very vanilla-y and was watery and not cold and basically not a good milkshake
