Fast Foods of the World: KFC brings the taste of Ireland to China

It’s been a while since I looked at one of the world’s weird fast foods, and today we’re heading to KFC China for something very strange – “taste of Ireland” chicken. The picture above shows what looks like Irish whiskey being poured over the chicken – presumably just before the chef suffered third degree burns – although in the ad below it looks like they’re using Baileys or some other kind of cream liqueur.

This looks very odd, and its hard to imagine what it takes like. One comment onΒ says “I found it expensive and not tasty at all. The taste was a strange combination of spicy chicken and sweetness, but not in a sweet chilli sauce way… I wouldn’t recommend it.”

I haven’t even tasted it, and I don’t think I’d recommend it either.
