Burger King Japan introduces pumpkin burger

Foodbeast reports that Burger King Japan is introducing a limited edition pumpkin burger – just in time for Halloween, presumably.

Apparently the pumpkin in question is actually kabocha, a green melon-sized winter squash commonly known as “Japanese pumpkin”. The burger also includes a beef patty, bacon, lettuce and a disturbing-sounding sesame seed / peanut / almond / cashew / hazelnut sauce. Mmm nutty…

The pictured burger includes the “pumpkin bomb” option which has ten slices instead of two. Ah well, I’ve never celebrated Halloween and I’m certainly not starting with this.
