Best Dining destinations when staying in Perth with AccorHotels

Perth may be a small city, but it has a diverse range of eating options to keep hunger at bay for both locals and visitors. With everything from fast food to fine dining, examples of almost every cuisine and cooking style can be found in the city and its surrounds. Perth’s proximity to Asia makes it a particularly great destination for fans of authentic food from throughout the region.

Each of Accor’s 7 Perth hotels has a variety of dining options nearby. Here’s a guide to just a few of the amazing restaurants near these top hotels.

Hotel Mercure Perth

Perth’s newest dining precinct, Hibernian Place, is just a short stroll from the hotel and offers a range of dining and drinking options.

Garum, a Roman-style Italian venue from top Australian chef Guy Grossi, is the precinct’s flagship restaurant. While relatively new, Garum has won many awards and attracted a legion of fans. The sophisticated buffet breakfast is one of the best in town.

On the other side of the precinct are two of Perth’s top bars, each with a very different theme: Hadiqa with a Middle-Eastern feel and Moroccan-inspired menu and Goody Twos, a Japanese whisky Bar offering a unique take on Japanese Street food. They’re both great starting points for a night in the city, or worthy destinations on their own.

Offshoot Coffee on Hay Street serves quality coffee and also the famous Mary Street Bakery is a must on weekdays for freshly baked goods.

Hotel ibis Perth

If you’re in need of a decent morning coffee, one of the best cafes in the Perth CBD is just around the corner: La Veen, on the corner of King & Wellington Streets.

Serving coffee from roaster Five Senses, La Veen produces outstanding coffee in all its forms from filter to a fine flat white. But it’s not just the coffee that makes it special. La Veen is one of Perth’s top breakfast destinations, offering a range of sweet and savoury dishes. If these don’t keep you coming back, the always-friendly service will.

If you like cold coffee drinks, try their iced cappuccino. You’ve probably never had anything like it before.

Hotel Novotel Perth Langley

Perth’s State Buildings are a short stroll from the hotel and home to three of Perth’s finest restaurants: Wildflower, Petition Kitchen and Long Chim.

Wildflower is a special-occasion venue focusing on native ingredients, and usually found either at or near the top of any Perth best restaurant list. If fine dining is your thing, then Wildflower is a must-visit during your stay.

Petition is a group of three venues: Kitchen, Beer Corner and Wine Bar & Merchant. The Kitchen serves a fine breakfast to the CBD business crowd (don’t be afraid of the raw beef on toast, it’s one of Perth’s finest breakfasts) and dinner until late. The Beer Corner has 18 independent taps, an extensive bottled list and its own food menu.

Long Chim, from renowned chef DavidThompson, is one of Australia’s finest Thai Restaurants. They’re not shy with the chilli (try the larb if you dare), but the unique cocktails can help to subdue any afterburn you might have. The weekday “tuck shop” menu is the perfect way to try this outstanding restaurant at takeaway prices.

Hotel The Sebel West Perth Aire Apartments

The Royal India, a short walk from the hotel, is one of Perth’s finest Indian restaurants and has kept Perth diners satisfied for over 30 years. Serving dinner seven days and lunch during the week, the Royal India serves both northern and southern Indian cuisine, with a special focus on Tandoori.

The goat curry is a house speciality and the lunchtime-only Thali, offering a selection of dishes with meat, seafood and vegetarian options, is one of Perth’s best dining deals.

Hotel Ibis Budget Perth Airport

Just because you’re staying in a budget hotel doesn’t mean you can’t put on your best clothes and head out for a special night. Perth’s Crown Casino is just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel and offers dining options to suit all tastes and budgets.

If buffet is your thing, try the Atrium or more exclusive Epicurean in Crown Towers. If not, there’s Modo Mio for fine Italian, Nobu for Japanese or Bistro Guillaume for classic French dining.

Rockpool Bar & Grill serves some of WA’s best steaks in an atmosphere that screams date night. Or sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail alongside one of Australia’s best burgers for the best of both worlds.

If cocktails and bar snacks are more your thing, head to The Waiting Room, one of Perth’s most awarded bars.
