Alternative Ways To Travel The World

When it comes to travelling, everyone has their own ideas about what travelling is for them.

Whilst most people think of travelling the world as requiring you to get on an aeroplane, this is definitely not the case and may not be for everyone, and depending on the type of traveller you are and the kinds of experiences you enjoy then there actually other options out there for you – whether you don’t want to fly because you’re afraid, or you simply just want to try something a bit different.

So in this post we are going to share with you some of the alternative ways to travel the world if flying just isn’t your thing.

By car:

Travelling by car can be can be one of the best ways to see different places. Itt gives you a certain sense of freedom that you don’t have when it comes to flying because you can make up your own schedule, you can stop whenever you feel like it, and you’re completely dependent on the open road to guide you where you need to go.

Driving or taking a longer road trip certainly isn’t for everyone, but it’s definitely something that you should probably try at least once it just to give it a shot and see if it’s something that you could enjoy in the future.

It’s also easier than you would think to travel the world this way since although most of the world is separated by oceans and seas, it doesn’t mean that you can’t find other ways to cross over these, so don’t let that stop you or make you think that the only way that you can get from continent to continent is by plane because it’s simply not the case.

By caravan:

If you like the idea of being on the open road, but feel like a car may just be a little too cramped for you, then you could perhaps consider taking something like an RV or even a caravan as your means of transportation.

One of the great things about this is that it means that when you stop, you can do things like get some sleep in a proper bed, you can make food, and you can stop off at nice nature spots even for a couple of days so you can be completely free.

When it comes to caravans and RVs, ther are definitely plenty of options out there, so it’s really just about researching things like for example if a crusader caravan is right for you or if perhaps you want something more like an RV that offers more mod cons.

By bike:

For most people the thought of travelling around the world on a bike is something that’s a little bit out there, and we can totally understand why, but if you’re someone who totally loves freedom and really wants to travel in a completely different way from the norm then going by bike could be just the ticket for you.

Of course you won’t be able to take as much stuff with you since you will have to think about the weight and the comfort that you will be needing, so it’s really going to just be the essentials and perhaps packing a tent so that you can find some places to sleep along the way.
