This gets better the further you get into the bag…which isn’t necessarily a good thing! There’s a purely sweet variety which I think will be quite dangerous…not to mention the lemon cupcake flavour!

So curiosity got the better of me – as it often does – and I bought this last week thinking it was $2 (it scanned at $6, but the unclear signage scored me a discount). … I cooked as instructed in the microwave, leaving to stand for 2 minutes as the familiar smell of buffet-bacon wafted through the kitchen ? … Peeling back the plastic to reveal the treats beneath, I was surprised to find that the bacon tasted most like what you would expect from a “normal” breakfast. The eggy lump didn’t have much flavour at all, the hash brown was mushy – maybe this would have been better cooked in the oven – and when you found a baked bean they were quite hard … I can’t think why anyone would choose to eat this, especially at $6. Buy a loaf of bread and a tin of beans or some eggs instead … In saying that, there’s a range of meals from this brand, so someone must be buying them… … #theshelflife #perth #perthfood #perthfoodblogger #perthfoodblog #food #foodblogger #foodblog #foodstagram #foodie #perthisok #pertheats #tasteperth #perthfoodie #perthfoodies #instagood #perthlife #morsels #woolworths #woolies #breakfast

Found these on my recent trip to Albany, and they were quite pricey – $4.50 each I think – but decided to try them anyway. The sea salt & caramel brittle is my favourite of the two, which surprises me as coffee & dark chocolate is a safe combo for me. Worth trying, but try to find them on sale
