Wesley Mission Victoria – celebrating 25 years of Melbourne’s Food for Families appeal

For 25 years, Wesley Mission Victoria’s Food for Families appeal has given a helping hand to people in the community when they need it most. The hundreds of boxes of food and household essentials collected through the appeal means that every week, all year long, families and others who are homeless and experiencing crisis can enjoy a warm meal and make ends meet. My New Travelling Companions – Sudio Vasa Blå Wireless Headphones

Headphones aren’t the kind of thing I normally talk about on Morsels, but they’re an essential accessory for many travellers and I’ve covered more kilometres than usual this year, both in the air and on the road. The subject of this article is a pair of “Vasa Blå” wireless headphones that I was sent by Swedish brand Sudio, and tested on my recent travels to Melbourne and Margaret River. The Vasa Blå is Sudio’s top of the line in-ear model, retailing for AU$149. Cheaper in-ear models start at AU$70, with the “Regent” over-ear (but still wireless) phones available for AU$219. The back of the box tells you a lot, so I’ll let it do its job. Great attention to detail has gone into the packaging, with the contents neatly packed into two smaller cardboard boxes inside –  it’s all very white and minimal, and would make an impressive gift.
